Watercolor & Copic Combo

March 31, 2017 Leave a comment

My latest card

Simply Monica

Hi crafters! Today I am here sharing my card for Theme Week with Stamp Annie Thing and it’s all about “watercolor” so I created a fun watercolor background in combo with my copic colored Felicity-Be Healthy!

  • I used Copics: E00, E000, E11, R56 for her face
  • Outfit: B21, B23, B24, B18, R17, R46, E30, E33
  • Hair: C5, C00, C7, C9, 100

For the fun background I used some distress inks in Sapphire, and Barn Door and added some splotches of gesso.  I didn’t add a sentiment because I wanted to keep the background more of the focal point so I popped on some red stars to bring everything together and I hope you like it!

Welcome to the “With the Rain Comes all Things Beautiful Hop”
you are at “scraps2treasure.blogspot.com” and your next crafty stop is  Ms. Amanda @ scrapanddash.com I am sure she has something just way to cool for you.
Should you get lost along the way just start back the beginning here.
I am doing an overall blog candy and in order to be eligible you must become a follower and leave comments at all the stops.  I will use random.org to pick the lucky hopper…. Good Luck and I truly hope you have fun.  This is my first host so if I messed something up bear with me and just let me know I am learning.  LOL
This is all about spring or should I say bright colorful flowers.  I created a suitcase and altered a jar that can be used to store your scissors, rulers, pens or anything you would like.  Sometimes I actually use this as gift holders I just put the gift down inside the jar and they love it cause they can always use it for something else.

Top of the suitcase…. watch for the matching luggage….

I wanted to share my flower heart wreath I made as well
Here is the complete list

My name is Monica and I am scraps2treasure to me nothing is scrap it’s all treasure hence the name… lol
If your reading this then you are hop, hop, hopping along the Make Up Your Own Holiday Blog Hop  hosted by Karelj!!  My awesome holiday is get ready………..

Happy Momma’s Boy Day!!!
My project is centered around my boy who technically is not a boy because he is “20” yrs old, but to me he is still my boy.  When he was younger he loved robots so I found the coolest thing… Check it out a SPACESHIP!!!  Inside the Spaceship I made a cute mini album out of paper bags and this album is so sturdy I reinforced some of the pages with chipboard.  I had so much fun making it too.  It is for sale in My ArtFire Shop..

But to make things even more exciting  “Karelj is offering an over-all blog candy for those who are hopping along with us. She thought it would be fun to have some holiday-themed candy for this hop–but, of course, made-up holiday items were hard to come by! She decided to do a whole bunch of *regular* holiday themed stamps for you to enjoy. From Fiskars, there is an assorted holiday set; there’s an alphabet from All Night Media, a set of 100 plus clear stamps and a storage case from Family Memories, and 5 sets of clear stamps from various dollar bins in big box stores. How to win them? Follow along the blog trail, leaving a comment on each and every blog. On Monday, Karelj will ask her  buddy Randy (random.org) to select a blog number (from the list), a day (Saturday is one, Sunday is two), and a comment number from that blog. Please make sure you have left a reliable way to contact you (email is best, in the safe format of **** at **** dot com ) so you can be notified by her personally. If you don’t, she’ll have to select another winner.”

Push the button and it countsdown – too cool huh?….

Mini album inside the ship just lift the lid….

Be sure to check back Sunday too… the addition to this guy will be posted…..
